5 Scatters in Le Bandit: The Slot's Best Round
In short: Five scatters at once open Treasure at the End of the Rainbow, the one round with no price on it. The round runs 12 free spins with a guaranteed Rainbow each time, and the cheapest coins drop out of the pool.
Five scatters landing together is the single best thing that can happen in this game. It is also the only route into a round the maker refuses to sell.

Note: Three scatters, four scatters and five scatters open three different rounds here, and the differences are not cosmetic. Here is what each one does and why the five-scatter version is the one worth waiting for.

The Steps, in Order
Follow these steps in order; each one is a single action with the control it uses.
Step 1: Land 3 FS Scatters at Once
in the base game this opens Luck of the Bandit, 8 free spins with Golden Squares staying highlighted until a Rainbow activates them
Step 2: Land 4 FS Scatters at Once
All That Glitters Is Gold starts with 12 free spins, and the squares stay highlighted even after being activated
Step 3: Land 5 FS Scatters at Once
Treasure at the End of the Rainbow also runs 12 free spins, a Rainbow is guaranteed every spin, and Bronze coins are removed
Step 4: Collect More Scatters Inside the Round
two more add 2 free spins and three more add 4, according to the client's rules screen
Step 5: Upgrade from Inside the First Bonus
landing 4 scatters during Luck of the Bandit promotes the round to All That Glitters Is Gold and adds 4 spins
What Dropping the Bronze Coins Changes
Dropping the bronze coins raises the cheapest coin in the round from 0.2x to 5x the bet, twenty-five times higher. In this round the Bronze tier leaves the pool entirely, so every coin on an activated square is Silver or better.
Coin Tiers, and the One the Five-Scatter Round Removes
| Tier | Values, in bets | In the five-scatter round |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 0.2x, 0.5x, 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x | Removed from the pool |
| Silver | 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x | In the pool |
| Gold | 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x, 500x | In the pool |

That makes it a different game from the other two bonuses rather than a bigger version of them. Why the studio does it is not stated anywhere, and we looked. The rules give the exclusion as a fact, the game page repeats it, and no release note explains the design. Reviewers elsewhere describe the same effect, though none of them cites a statement from the studio either.
The 5 Scatter Guarantee Is the Real Prize
The guarantee is the prize because it removes the waiting: a Rainbow lands on every spin, so every Golden Square is opened every time. In the other two rounds a Rainbow has to land first, and the squares can sit highlighted for several spins. An opened square reveals a coin, a Four-Leaf Clover that multiplies its neighbours, or a Pot of Gold that collects them. Opening a square and being paid for it are two different events.
How Rare Are 5 Scatters in Le Bandit
How rare 5 scatters are in Le Bandit is unknown, and anyone publishing a figure for it is guessing. The maker's game server returns zero for hit frequency and zero for the odds of the maximum win. Zero in that field means withheld, not impossible. Our own session ran 22 spins inside a bonus round, and the protocol records the count rather than the round, so it leaves the question where it found it.

Our Own Session in the Maker's Demo, 12 October 2026
| Measure | What we recorded |
|---|---|
| Bet | 1.00 a spin, turbo on |
| Spin presses | 70, of which 48 were paid and 22 ran inside a bonus |
| Presses that ended in a win | 10 of 70 |
| Staked and returned | 48.00 staked, 31.00 back, 64.6% over the session |
| Best single result | 17.40, or 17.4x the bet, on the fifteenth press |
| Which bonus round ran | Not recorded, so the session says nothing about the five-scatter one |
You Cannot Buy the 5 Scatter Round
The 5 scatter round is on no price list: four purchases exist, from 3x to 250x the bet, and it is none of them. Only the cheapest option touches the odds: BonusHunt FeatureSpins at 3x a spin makes any bonus trigger five times more likely. Rainbow FeatureSpins at 50x guarantees a Rainbow symbol rather than a bonus, and neither of them buys the five-scatter version.

And here is the case against waiting for it. Nobody publishes how often five scatters land, the maker withholds hit frequency altogether, and one session of 48 paid spins is far too small to stand in for it. Sitting at this game for the best bonus means betting on an event with no published probability. The maker rates the volatility 3 out of 5, so the base game will not fund a long wait either. We would not recommend chasing this round: take the 12 spins if they arrive, and treat whichever bonus the game gives you as the realistic version of the feature.
